Kalpataru informs about receipt of show cause-cum demand notice

Kalpataru has informed that Kalpataru Properties Limited (KPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has received a Show Cause-Cum Demand Notice (Notice) dated October 15, 2026, issued by GST Authority, calling upon KPL to show cause why GST amounting to Rs 73,85,00,312 along with applicable interest and penalty should not be demanded and recovered, under Section 74A of CGST Act, 2017 read with corresponding provisions of the MGST Act, 2017, for FY 2025-26, in respect of certain construction services. KPL is advised that the Notice is not sustainable and shall reply appropriately. This Notice does not have any material financial impact on the operations of the Company. The Company has received information from KPL about receipt of the Notice on October 16, 2026 at 3:00 pm. This information is also simultaneously disseminated on the website of the Company at https://www.kalpataru.com/investor-corner.
