Ashok Leyland has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) to offer training for students taking up courses in the automobile sector. Through this agreement, the Hinduja group flagship company would offer course modules including training of students and certification. ASDC is promoted by the auto industry and the Department of Heavy Industry and National Skill Development Corporation.
Besides, the company already offers similar training in skill development and has set up driver training institutes and service training centres across the country. At its Pantnagar facility, the company has trained nearly 1,000 students in manufacturing operations.
