GPT Infraprojects’ (GPT), infrastructure division has bagged orders valued at Rs 34.71 crore from the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. The order work is for construction of jetty and raw water pumping station at Ma-er Ghat (Baghbazar) for Dhapa water treatment plant.
The completion period for the above project is 18 months. Further, this is for the first time the company has received order for water works.
GPT Infraprojects, the flagship company of the GPT Group was renamed to reflect the core areas of operation of the Company in the execution of civil and infrastructure projects, after the merger of Tantia Concrete Products and GPT Infrastructures. GPT Infraprojects operates primarily from two divisions - the Sleeper Division and the Infrastructure Division.
