Ashok Leyland- Nissan Joint Venture (JV) has unveiled two new Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) -- PARTNER truck and MiTR bus, an LCV bus. With the launch of these two products, the company now has a full line of contemporary models.
PARTNER is the latest LCV from Europe and Japan. The next-generation truck, an airconditioned LCV goods vehicle, comes with an Euro cab with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) capacity of 6.6T. While, MiTR is a 26+2 seater bus with parabolic suspension, which company claims is the industry's first.
Further, PARTNER is priced between Rs 8.89 lakh and Rs 9.49 lakh, while MiTR is priced at Rs 12.49 lakh. The prices are for ex-showroom Chennai.
Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
