BHEL has bagged an order for manufacturing 250 megawatt machines for the Pakaldul Hydro Power Project of Chenab Valley Power Corp in Jammu and Kashmir. BHEL is the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the project. The order has been received for Rs 1,000 crore, out of which Rs 700 crore is to be delivered by BHEL, Bhopal. The project will be completed within five years. BHEL will be supplying four 250 MW Francis Turbine Generators.
