Punj Lloyd declines on receiving termination notice for FTP Contract

Punj Lloyd is currently trading at Rs. 25.85, down by 0.45 points or 1.71 % from its previous closing of Rs. 26.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 26.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 26.65 and Rs. 25.80 respectively. So far 242400 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 57.80 on 09-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 20.25 on 04-Sep-2013.

Punj Lloyd has received a Termination Notice for FTP Contract. The Fourth Transmission Pipeline contract (FTP Contract) awarded by PTT Public Company, Thailand has issued a Notice of Termination for the said contract.

The company has initiated a legal process to protect its interest fully, as it believes that the action of the client is unlawful and not in accordance with the contract.

Punj Lloyd provides engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and project management services. It provides services to oil and gas, energy, infrastructure petrochemical, telecom broadband and utilities sectors, among others.
