Macquarie Bank acquires 1.5% stake in IVRCL

Macquarie Bank has acquired 1.5% stake in IVRCL on December 13, 2011. It bought 40 lakh shares of the company at Rs 33.5 a share amounting to Rs 13.40 crore.

On the other hand, Prism Commodeal sold 0.6% stake in IVRCL. It sold 16.30 lakh shares of the company at Rs 33.48 a share amounting to Rs 5.47 crore.

Macquarie Group is a leading provider of banking, financial, advisory, investment and funds management services. The company’s global operations include offices in the world’s major financial centres.

IVRCL is engaged primarily in providing engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services in major infrastructure segments including urban/rural water supply, irrigation and environment related projects, pipelines, power projects (substations and transmission and distribution lines), buildings and industrial structures, roads and bridges.
