HDFC Equity Fund has sold 69,723 shares of Page Industries through an open market transaction. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 6,000 a piece at National Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 11, 2014. On the other hand, Cartica Capital has purchased 280,000 shares of the company at Rs 6,000 a piece.
Page Industries is engaged in the business of manufacturing garments. The company is located in Bangalore and is the exclusive licensee of Jockey International Inc (USA) for manufacture and distribution of the Jockey brand innerwear/ leisurewear for men and women in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
