2014 - The 22-storey GAIL Jubilee Tower has been designed as per LEED-Platinum Green Building norms. The building has its own captive power generation plant using gas engine generators and the waste heat recovered is used to run the Air Conditioning system. A 30 KW solar power plant has been installed for area lighting. Its electricity load will be 40% less than other similar high-rises. The building is equipped with high performance glass with insulation on walls, occupancy and lux level sensors.
