It provides a broad range of products to its customers which increases the scope of its customers and its ability to cater to a diversified clientele base. Its comprehensive product portfolio under Polyethylene (PE) includes LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE and MLLDPE. Under Polypropylene (PP), its product portfolio consists of Homo polymer, Impact Co-polymer and Random Co-polymer. The company’s business model emphasizes ‘Stock & Sale’ catering to small, medium and large customers as per their requirement. It is presently engaged in the domestic B2B trading of polymer, wherein it imports the material and stores the same at its warehouses and depots and sells them thereafter to manufacturer of plastic product. These end use customers include manufacturers of pressure pipes, non-pressure pipes, drip pipe, shrink film, lamination film, mulch film, greenhouse films, CPP films, liners, EPE foam, woven sack bags, spun bond nonwoven fabric, paint pails, crates, houseware products, suitcases, thin wall containers.

Polyethylene (PE) and Polypropylene (PP) are two of the most consumed thermoplastic components in the world. PE is the most commonly produced and consumed polymer compound globally. If finds application in a wide range of products, ranging from every day usage products to niche products. Some of the uses of PE include usage in manufacture of PET bottles, bags & food containers, pipes & pipe fittings, flexible packaging films, and medical implants, to name a few. The popularity of polypropylene stems from its unique blend of properties including flexibility, moisture resistance, superior impact strength, insulation properties, and the smallest impact on environment amongst all popular thermoplastics. These unique properties & attributes have led to its usage as mouldings, fibers, tape, foam, and film. In these separate forms PP is used across a wide range of industries including automotive, plastic packaging, technical textiles, and plastic parts used in machinery/equipment’s. This widespread usage pattern of PP in its various forms across multiple industries has given the commodity a strong and varied demand base.

Business area of the company

Product portfolios of the company

Polyethylene (PE): a lightweight, durable, synthetic resin derived from the polymerization of ethylene, used in various applications like packaging, films, and containers etc. Its various products are as follows.

  • HDPE: High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is known for strength and resistance to chemical. It is often used in containers, pipes & various packaging applications.
  • LDPE: Low-Density Polyethylene is more flexible than HDPE, often used for bags & films.
  • LLDPE: Linear Low-Density Polyethylene is a type of Polyethylene with a Linear structure and short branches, offering good flexibility and toughness. It is used for heavy duty application, packaging, drip pipes.
  • MLLDPE: Metallocene Linear Low-Density Polyethylene offers enhanced properties like improved mechanical strength and seal-ability.

Polypropylene (PP): a versatile, durable, and chemical-resistant plastic. It is characterized by its low density, making it the lightest among commodity plastics, and exhibits excellent chemical resistance. Its various products are as follows.

  • Homopolymer: Homopolymer polypropylene is the most common form of PP, made from polypropylene monomers. It is used in packaging, household goods, textiles, film, healthcare and pipe as well as application in the automotive and electrical industries.
  • Copolymer: A Copolymer is offering diverse properties compared to homopolymers (made from a single monomer). It is dealing in two types of Copolymers such as Impact Copolymer and random Copolymer. Impact and random copolymers are types of polymers created by linking different monomers, with impact copolymers (like polypropylene) having alternating blocks of repeating units and random copolymers having monomers arranged randomly. Impact copolymers, known for their toughness and flexibility, are used in applications requiring high impact resistance like automotive parts and packaging, while random copolymers, with their transparency and stiffness, are suitable for clear packaging, medical devices, and food containers.

History and millstones

  • 2008: Incorporation of the company as limited company under the name ‘Bhavik Enterprises Limited’
