Shriram Properties is one of the leading residential real estate development companies in South India, primarily focused on the mid-market and affordable housing categories. It is among the top five residential real estate companies in South India in terms of number of units launched between the calendar years 2012 and the third quarter of 2021 across Tier 1 cities of South India including Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. It also present in the mid-market premium and luxury housing categories as well as commercial and office space categories in its core markets.

The company is part of the Shriram Group, which is a prominent business group with four decades of operating history in India and a well-recognized brand in the retail financial services sector and several other industries.   • 2018: Purchase of compulsorily convertible debenture of Shriprop Properties by Mitsubishi Corporation through its subsidiary, DRI India Company Limited for a consideration of Rs 1,785 million.
  • 2018: Signing of a non-binding memorandum of understanding with ASK Property Investment Advisors Private Limited for funding commitment of ?8,000 million in residential real estate projects in Bengaluru and Chennai.
  • 2019: Entered the plotted development segment under the name of “Shriram Earth.” The first project under the series was launched in April, 2019 located off Mysore Road, Bengaluru. This project is spread over an area of 20 acres and contains 381 plots.
  • 2019: Entered into a debenture trustee agreement with Kotak India Affordable Housing Fund - 1 for investment of Rs 400 million for the development of Shriram Grand Two, an affordable housing project in Kolkata with approximately 2 million square feet of saleable area.
