The company, earlier known as Shivalik Packaging, got its present name on December 31, 1995. It is part of the Delhi-based Mount Shivalik group promoted by the Bali family, pioneers in the brewery business since the 1970s. The group has also entered the hospitality business with pubs, motels, beer gardens, and highway restaurants.

It is part of the Delhi-based Mount Shivalik group promoted by the Bali family, pioneers in the brewery business since the 1970s. The group has also entered the hospitality business with pubs, motels, beer gardens, and highway restaurants.

Specializing in the production of strong as well as mild beer, the company markets them under popular brand names like Thunderbolt, Torpedo, Punjab Extra Strong and Stroh Super Strong in the strong beer category, and Golden Peacock and Stroh`s Premium Lager are its mild beer brands. It is single largest manufacturer of beer in the state of Rajasthan having a state-of-the-art brewery in the Alwar district with an annual installed capacity of 300,000 hectolitres. It produces international class beer under technical expertise and tie-ups with world leaders like Stroh Brewery, USA and Cobra Beers, UK. The company has its own laboratory at the brewery plant for research and development activities.

A separate hospitality division has recently opened its first restaurant-cum-bar at Jaipur in February 2007. The company has finalized long-term lease for two restaurant-cum-bars in FY08 at prominent places in Jaipur and Jodhpur. These projects are under implementation and are likely to be completed within a year.

The registered office of the company is located at 140th Milestone, Village Gunti, No. 8, Tehsil Behror, Alwar, Rajasthan.
