National Steel and Agro Industries Ltd.was incorporated on  January 9, 1985 at Indore (Madhya Pradesh) and obtained the certificate of commencement of business on October 4, 1985. It was jointly promoted by A C Patel of Viscus and Santosh Kumar Sahara, promoters of Ruchi Soya Industries Ltd. and MPAVN.

National Steel and Agro Industries Ltd, an ISO 9001:2000 company, ranks amongst the front-runners in the Indian galvanized steel industry commanding a significant market share.

With sales of over $300 million and total tonnage shipment of 300,000 MT, it services customers across continents. Their products are well established in the USA, EU, UAE and African markets.With consistent export achievements, they have gained the status of Star Trading House in exports.

The company processes hot rolled (HR) steel to produce cost effective, quality steel products that find application across industries as diverse as construction, automobile, packaging and agriculture.

Its continuous steel strip galvanizing lines generate a myriad of products ranging from cold rolled sheets to specialized colour–coated and profiled sheets. Being corrosion resistant, they are suitable for various climatic conditions.
