The company was incorporated as 'Oswal Infotech Private Limited', a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1956, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation dated July 28, 1995, issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal. The name of the company was changed to 'Eastern Infoway Private Limited', pursuant to a fresh certificate of incorporation dated December 5, 2000, issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal. Subsequently, the company was converted into a public limited company pursuant to a resolution passed by its Shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting held on December 18, 2000, and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated January 2, 2001, was issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal consequent upon conversion, recording the change in the name of the Company to 'Eastern Infoway Limited'. Further, the name of the Company was changed to 'Eastern Logica Infoway Limited', pursuant to a fresh certificate of incorporation dated February 3, 2003, issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal.
