About Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Ltd

Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts (formerly known as Schloss Bangalore) was incorporated as ‘Schloss Bangalore Private Limited’ on March 20, 2019, as a private limited company under the Companies Act 2013, at New Delhi, pursuant to a certificate of incorporation issued by the RoC CRC. Upon the conversion of the company to a public limited company, pursuant to a resolution passed by its Board on May 29, 2024 and a special resolution passed by its Shareholders on May 30, 2024, the name of the company was changed to ‘Schloss Bangalore Limited’, and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated July 3, 2024 was issued by the RoC CPC. Further, after the Board’s approval on August 22, 2025, the name of the company changed from ‘Schloss Bangalore Limited’ to ‘Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts Limited’.

The company is a premier player in the Indian luxury hospitality sector, owning, operating, managing and developing world-class hotels and resorts under the prestigious ‘The Leela’ brand. Deeply inspired by the traditional Indian hospitality belief of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ (Guest is God), the company is dedicated to delivering luxurious and personalised guest experiences that reflect the richness of Indian heritage, art and culture. Headquartered in Mumbai, the company is backed by a private real estate fund sponsored by Brookfield Asset Management. Under its strategic stewardship, The Leela has evolved into one of India’s most distinguished luxury hospitality brands, with thirteen award-winning properties across major metropolitan hubs and premier leisure destinations.
