CMI FPE gains on entering into an agreement with Bhushan Steel

CMI FPE is currently trading at Rs. 800.00, up by 5.50 points or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 794.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 801.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 810.00 and Rs. 777.50 respectively. So far 663 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1355.00 on 14-Feb-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 670.00 on 03-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 820.00 and Rs. 751.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 395.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.03% and 24.97% respectively.

CMI FPE, one of CMI Industry's Indian subsidiaries, has entered into a new agreement with Indian steelmaker Bhushan Steel for the supply of seven major steel processing equipments. All these equipments are to be commissioned within 15 months. These orders will help Bhushan Steel to increase its production capacities of high quality steel strips and enter the hot rolled skin passed strip market.

The equipments to be supplied by CMI FPE includes - one skin pass mill for hot rolled coils suitable for 1750 mm wide strip at speed of 700mpm, one 6Hi cold rolling mill for 1350mm wide strip at speed of 1400mpm, one 4 Hi skin pass mill for 1250mm wide strip at speed of 400mpm, one electrolytic cleaning line with inline 4Hi skin pass mill for 1350mm wide strip at speed of 300mpm, one cold rolling mill for narrow width strip of 500mm, the modernization of one continuous galvanizing line and the modernization of previously supplied 1050mm wide cold rolling mill.

The principal activities of the company comprise of manufacturing and installation of cold rolling mills complexes, processing lines, chemical processes, thermal processes and automation equipments for ferrous and non-ferrous industries worldwide. The company, over a period of time, has acquired a global leadership position in the design, manufacture, erection and commissioning of Cold Rolling Mill Complexes and Auxiliary Equipments for the Cold Rolling Industry and the Metal Processing Industry.
