Kirloskar Brothers (KBL), a Pune-based centrifugal pumps and valves manufacturer, has reportedly received a repeat order from Calik Enerji of Turkey, for supply of pumps for its 230 MW CCPP project in Georgia. Earlier, the company had received its first order from Calik Enerji in 2010-11 for supply of 24 units of various horizontal split case and vertical turbine pumps for the 480 MW NAVOI CCPP project in Uzbekistan. The company also provided supervision support on site during the installation and commissioning of pumps.
Kirloskar Brothers is engaged in manufacturing pumps. It is a part of $2.2 billion Kirloskar group and India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of pumps and valves.
