Eros International Media trades higher on the bourses

Eros International Media is currently trading at Rs. 486.10, up by 5.80 points or 1.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 480.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 488.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 494.00 and Rs. 480.30 respectively. So far 10379 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 644.40 on 20-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 234.80 on 15-Sep-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 509.90 and Rs. 452.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4547.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.37% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.66% and 4.97% respectively.

Eros International Media (Eros), a leading global film company in the Indian film entertainment industry, is set to carve a niche in the Malayalam movie market with the release of its debut production ‘Life of Josutty’.

Co-produced by Eros with Jayalal Menon and Anil Biswas’ Backwater Studios, the film is set for a worldwide release on September 18, 2015. After the company’s significant inroads into Tamil and Telugu cinema, the studio is now gearing to make its mark into the Malayalam market.
