KSS has informed that K Sera Sera Miniplex (Subsidiary of KSS Limited) is in the business of making small format theatres of 2 screens with approx 80-120 seater each. K Sera Sera Miniplex is also continuing its growth adding new partners and new screens to its portfolio and as a new business venture it has started acquiring single screen cinemas and converting it into miniplex with a new look and feel to the theatres. The such acquisition is Dausa in Rajasthan, the theatre was inaugurated with movie ‘Singh Is Bling’ which did very well in the theatre. The next in line is Chidhava again in Rajasthan in near future. The company plans to acquire approx. 300 such theatres and join the miniplex Fleet. The Company is having around 70 screens under various stages of implementation, 20 screens are already operational and 10 screens will be added and operational by end of March 2016 and additional 60 screens by March 2017 and remaining will be added by March 2018. According to its plan the Company will roll out over 180 screens covering almost 50 locations in the country in next 5 years.
