DCB Bank gains despite reporting 3% fall in Q3 net profit

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs 77.80, up by 2.70 points or 3.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 75.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 79.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 80.60 and Rs. 76.75 respectively. So far 609411 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 150.90 on 14-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.10 on 12-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 80.60 and Rs. 74.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2207.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.30% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.11% and 42.59% respectively.

DCB Bank has reported a fall of 3.06% in its net profit at Rs 41.20 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 42.50 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank has increased by 17.94% at Rs 477.05 crore for Q3FY16 as compared Rs 404.49 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) increased to 1.98% in the October- December quarter as against 1.87% in the same quarter previous year, while net NPAs stood to 1.12%.
