DCB Bank zooms on reporting 10% rise in Q4 net profit

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs 94.20, up by 6.30 points or 7.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 87.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 88.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.80 and Rs. 88.15 respectively. So far 555778 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 150.90 on 14-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 68.50 on 21-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 94.80 and Rs. 83.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2666.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.24% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.92% and 46.84% respectively.

DCB Bank has posted a rise of 10.45% in its net profit at Rs 69.53 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 62.95 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 19.86% at Rs 509.56 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 425.12 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the bank has posted a marginal rise of 1.74% in its net profit at Rs 194.52 crore as compared to Rs 191.18 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of bank increased by 20.83% at Rs 1918.92 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1588.14 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
