AI Champdany Industries has entered into a final sale agreement on May 04, 2016 with P&A Distilleries for sale of West Bengal unit at a consideration of Rs 16 crore. Accordingly the company has received the consideration money and the unit has been handed over to the buyer on May 04, 2016.
Earlier on March 14, 2014, the shareholders of the company approved by postal ballot for sale of one of the units of the company namely Anglo-India Jute - Middle Mill located at Jagatdal, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
