With reference to the earlier letter dated January 02, 2016 the Company had informed the Exchange that the Company had started running its 3.14 MW Captive Power Plant installed at Budge Budge Jute Mill premises with effect from January 01, 2016 to cater power requirement of its own Jute Mill at Budge Budge instead of drawing Power from CESC supply line. Since then, there has been significant hike in the oil prices and at this stage it is no longer beneficial to run the 3.14 MW Captive Power Plant installed at Budge Budge Jute Mill. Accordingly, Cheviot Company has now informed that it has now been decided to resume drawing of power from CESC supply line with effect from June 13, 2016 on regular basis to cater to the power requirement at the Company’s Jute Mill situated at Budge Budge and keep the 3.14 MW Captive Power Plant installed at Budge Budge Jute Mill premises on standby position for exigencies.
