Mukta Arts trades jubilantly on plan to transfer cinema business to Mukta A2 Cinemas

Mukta Arts is currently trading at Rs. 113.30, up by 11.15 points or 10.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 102.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 111.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 118.00 and Rs. 111.00 respectively. So far 538594 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 118.00 on 28-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 31.00 on 30-Sep-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 118.00 and Rs. 84.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 255.96 crore.

Mukta Arts, one of the India’s leading Entertainment companies, is planning to transfer its cinema business to a newly floated wholly-owned subsidiary, Mukta A2 Cinemas. The company will hold a board meeting on September 29 to consider and get approval for slump sale through a business transfer agreement.

Mukta Arts is engaged in various areas of film making such as production, distribution, exhibition and imparting education.
