Atlas Jewellery India has informed that on January 02, 2017 the Company has received demand notice from the Income Tax Department post assessment for the assessment years 2014-15 and 2015-16 totalling to Rs 8,34,11,158 and the Company is allowed to file an appeal against the same within thirty days of receipt of the demand. The Company is in the process of studying the same and would be filling an appeal against the said notices within the prescribed time.
