Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network surges despite reporting net loss in Q4

Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network is currently trading at Rs. 70.30, up by 1.25 points or 1.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 69.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 70.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 71.00 and Rs. 70.05 respectively. So far 41196 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 89.00 on 09-Mar-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 46.50 on 08-Aug-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 71.45 and Rs. 68.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 173.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.57% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.85% and 54.59% respectively.

Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.

On the standalone basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 3.70 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012, against net loss of Rs 2.82 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.  However, total income increased by 164.39% at Rs 15.07 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 5.70 crore in the year-ago period.

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, on the standalone basis the company has posted a rise of 218.52% in its net profit at Rs 1.72 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 0.54 crore in the previous year. Total income has increased by 49.37% at Rs 48.44 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 32.43 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
