Future Ventures India (FVIL) has acquired additional 1, 41,459 equity shares from existing promoter of Amar Chitra Katha (ACKPL), which represents 30% of the share capital. Thus, with the present acquisition FVIL has increased its stake in ACKPL to 56%, thereby making the latter its subsidiary.
ACKPL has an established leadership in creation and publication of high quality for both print and digital medium through its iconic publications like ‘Amar Chitra Katha’ a comics series based on stories of mythological and historical personalities, “Tinkle” a monthly Fun magazine, “Brainware” a bi-monthly science magazine and ‘Karadi Tales’ audio and print books.
