DCB Bank trades with traction on the bourses

DCB Bank is currently trading at Rs. 184.00, up by 2.15 points or 1.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 181.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 182.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 185.65 and Rs. 181.50 respectively. So far 96573 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 185.65 on 25-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 87.40 on 24-May-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 185.65 and Rs. 174.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5241.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.19%, while institutions and non-institutions held 40.61% and 43.20% respectively.

Private sector DCB Bank has fixed the floor price at Rs 177.39 for its issue of shares to qualified institutions to raise Rs 400 crore. The Bank may offer a discount of 5 per cent on the floor price.

The infusion of up to Rs 400 crore will help it add up to 2 percentage points to the core capital buffer and the tier-I will go up to 13 per cent after the infusion.

The Bank had reported a lower net profit of Rs 53 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2017, on higher provisioning and higher tax expense. The Bank had recorded a profit of Rs 70 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
