Mukta Arts’ wholly-owned subsidiary - Mukta A2 Cinemas, is completing the fit-out work for two screen multiplex at Ahmedabad, Gujarat and four screen multiplex at Karimnagar, Andhra and both are expected to be operational by Dussehra this year. Apart from the above, work will soon start at Pune, Gurgaon and other places. The company is also negotiating for some running theatres which can be refurbished and completed soon.
Meanwhile, Whistling Woods International, another subsidiary of the company has registered 19% increase in admissions this month. Total strength of students has gone up to 930 from 730 registering an increase of 27% over previous year.
Mukta Arts is engaged in various areas of film making such as production, distribution, exhibition and imparting education.
