Shreeyash Industries has received an approval where the board will explore upon the proposal and consider the merger of a garment trading company Alta Moda Garments, having tie ups for exclusive marketing of foreign brands in India. The company has received an approval to go ahead with the merger proposal at its board meeting held on July 27, 2011. Further, the board has authorized the managing director of the company to examine the proposal and place before the board.
Recently, Shreeyash Industries had confirmed an order of 10,000 oxford shirts per month for 6 months from Colombo Trade, Brescia, Italy. The order for which the first delivery would start in 3 months is valued for approximately Rs 2 crore. The price negotiated was Euro 5.2, FOB any Indian port.
Shreeyash Industries earlier known as Range Apparels is promoted by Mano Kumar and his wife Sumedha Saraogi in technical arrangement with Kuke Nylon [KNCs], S. Korea, for setting up a new 100% EOU for the manufacture of knitted designer cotton socks of international standards/quality.
