Stone India has temporarily closed its factory and office situated at Taratalla Road in Kolkata with effect from October 1, 2017. The temporary closure was necessary in view of continuing labour unrest and financial distress.

Considering future prospects of the company, the management proposes to restart operation immediately on settlement with workers on various issues and arrangement of necessary inputs. The company is continuing its efforts to settle with all concerned in its endeavor to come out of the present situation.

Stone India is the undisputed leader in locomotive brake systems and has a wide range of mechanical and electrical products for the rail road industry.
