Thacker and Company has received an approval for the temporary closure of the product and culinary operations of Cakesmiths division of the company with effect from May 1, 2018. The Board of Directors of the company on April 30, 2018, approved the same.
In view of the continued losses, the business of Cakesmiths Division was temporarily leased out. The Lessee now is exiting from the business and therefore the business is being closed temporarily.
Thacker and Company was established in 1878 as a financing company to cater the needs of private & public Limited Companies, proprietary & partnership firms in terms of granting loans & advances. It has over the tide of time expanded into a five-fold scope of operations, which are known as the Thacker 5.
