Ashok Leyland reports 40% rise in Q4 net profit

Ashok Leyland has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.  

The company has reported a rise of 40.16% in its net profit at Rs 667.38 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 476.17 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 23.79% at Rs 8,830.22 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 7,133.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a rise of 27.76% in its net profit at Rs 1,562.59 crore as compared to Rs 1,223.08 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased 23.74% at Rs 26,714.28 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 21,589.41 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.
