Bayer AG has completed the merger of Monsanto's India business with itself. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) had approved the merger of Monsanto India with Bayer CropScience.
Upon the merger becoming effective, the shareholders of Monsanto India will get two equity shares of Bayer CropScience for every three shares held by them in Monsanto India.
Monsanto India (MIL), a subsidiary of Monsanto, (USA), is a research based biotechnology company.
