The second multiplex of Mukta Cinemas, a division of Mukta Arts got operational at Gulmohar mall in Ahmedabad with Heroine and Barfi. The multiplex has four screens, one of which has a 3-D equipped projector. The first multiplex of the company is at Centre Square Mall, Vadodara.
Besides, other multiplexes in pipeline are at Vishakhapatnam, Gulberga, Sangli, Raipur and Bhopal all of which are expected to be operational by the year end. The company is also in final stages for negotiating for more locations including a two theatre in Mumbai.
Mukta Arts is engaged in various areas of film making such as production, distribution, exhibition and imparting education.
