Eros International Media trades in green on the bourses

Eros International Media is currently trading at Rs 254.85, up by 0.50 points or 0.20% from its previous closing of Rs 254.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 256.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 259.60 and Rs 250.50 respectively. So far 145973 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 267.50 on 22-Sep-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 124.30 on 23-Mar-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 267.50 and Rs 245.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 2324.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 78.12% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.69% and 10.19% respectively.

Eros International Media (Eros International), India's largest integrated film studio and Vistaar Religare Film Fund is all set to release the highly anticipated Mausam on September 23, 2011. The film marks the directorial debut of veteran actor Pankaj Kapur and stars Shahid Kapur and Sonam Kapoor. Eros International and Vistaar Religare are gearing up for a wide release for the co-produced film across 2,000 plus screens worldwide with a combination of prints and digital screens.

The television premiere of the film will be on Sahara's GEC channel and the content licensing deal was struck on the basis of minimum guarantee and then a potential uplift based on the box office performance of the film ensuring Eros maximises its revenues if the film attracts audiences.

The film is economically budgeted and co-funded by co-production partners Eros International and Vistaar Religare Film Fund, where Eros's Investment is less than Rs 15 crore plus print and advertising, with an overall agreement budgeted value of less than Rs 32 crore.
