Compact Disc zooms as its promoter hikes stake in company to 24.70%

Compact Disc India is currently trading at Rs. 10.50, up by 1.51 points or 16.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 8.99 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 10.50 and Rs. 9.44 respectively. So far 16529 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 30.95 on 03-Apr-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.60 on 28-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 11.15 and Rs. 8.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12.24 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.43% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.02% and 80.55% respectively.

Compact Disc India’s promoter group company - Parisocpe Financial Advisors, has recently purchased 672,240 equity shares of the company. The promoters’ share holding has increased from the existing 19.43% to 24.70% as on March 31, 2013.

Compact Disc India is engaged in multimedia and entertainment production in India and has extensive expertise in creation, distribution and management of contents for media and entertainment sector with its strong presence in India, Malaysia and Singapore.
