Sportking India has informed that 34rd Annual General Meeting of the Company is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 16th Day of September, 2023 at 10.30 AM at Registered Office of the Company situated at Village Kanech, Near Sahnewal GT Road, Ludhiana-141120 (Punjab) and pursuant to Regulation 30 and 34 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it enclosed the Notice convening the 34th AGM of the shareholders of the Company and the Annual Report for the Financial Year ended 31st March, 2023. The same is being circulated through electronic mode to all the shareholders of the Company whose E-mail addresses are registered with the Company or Depository Participant(s), in compliance with the relevant circulars issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA)and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Notice and the Annual Report has also been made available on the Company's website at www.sportking.co.in. Further, pursuant to the provisions of Section 108 of the Companies Act 2013, read with Rule 20 of the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014 and Regulation 44 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), Regulations, 2015, the facility/option to transact through Remote Electronic Voting is also being provided to the shareholders. The remote E-voting will start on Wednesday, 13th September 2023 at 09:00 am [IST] and ends on Friday, 15th September 2023 at 05.00 pm [IST]. Accordingly, for the purpose of determining the shareholders eligible to cast their votes electronically/physically, the Company has fixed Saturday, 09th September, 2023 as the cut-off date. Pursuant to Section 91 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Regulation 42 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain close from Monday 11th September, 2023 to Saturday 16th September, 2023 for the purpose of holding AGM.
