DCB surges on getting nod for its fund raising plans

Development Credit Bank (DCB) is currently trading at Rs 43.60, up by 0.50 points or 1.16% from its previous closing of Rs 43.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 43.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 45.45 and Rs 42.70 respectively. So far 1355013 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 52.80 on 13-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 36.75 on 04-Jun-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 43.35 and Rs 41.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1106.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.47% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.08% and 57.45% respectively.

Development Credit Bank has received an approval for issue of Subordinated Tier II Bonds up to an amount of Rs 200 crore to be raised during the financial year 2013-14 in one or more tranches, subject to securing appropriate regulatory and other approvals. The board at its meeting held on April 12, 2013 has approved for the same.
