Hindalco Industries reports marginal fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Hindalco Industries has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2023 (Q2FY24). 

The company has reported 54.56% rise in its net profit at Rs 847 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 548 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 12.22% at Rs 20,842 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 18,572 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 0.41% fall in its net profit at Rs 2,196 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 2,205 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 3.31% at Rs 54,632 crore for Q2FY24 as compared to Rs 56,504 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
