Eros International Media (Eros International), a leading global company in the Indian film industry, continues its dream run of Raanjhanaa at the box office with an impressive Rs 68.50 crore worldwide up to its second weekend. The film in its opening weekend netted a NBOC (Net Box office collections) of Rs 20.08 crore in India and held strong through the week and closed at an impressive Rs 34.98 crore (NBOC) for week one. The second weekend was equally impressive garnering a collection of Rs 10.70 crore (NBOC).
The film has so far grossed a total of Rs 59.50 crore (Net collection Rs 45.68 crore) and overseas Rs 9 crore in 10 days. Produced and distributed by Eros International worldwide, Raanjhanaa released across 1,400 screens in India and 220 plus screens overseas.
‘Ambikapathy’, the Tamil version of the film released across 300 screens in India last Friday and has grossed an impressive Rs 2.95 crore at the box office during the opening weekend with a net collection of Rs 2.05 crore.
