John Cockerill India has secured a contract worth around Rs 200 crore from A1 Iron & Steel Tanzania. The contract involves design, manufacturing, critical supply & providing supervisory services for erection, commissioning and performance testing of Push Pull Pickling Line (PPPL), one 6-Hi Single Stand Reversible Cold Rolling Mill (CRM), one Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL), and one Acid Regeneration Plant (ARP) (each a ‘Line’ and collectively the ‘Equipment’). The contract is to be executed within 10 months from August 2026.
John Cockerill India’s principal activities comprise of customised design, engineering, manufacturing and installation of components of Cold Rolling Mill Complexes, Galvanising Lines, Colour Coating Lines, Tension Levelling Lines, Skin Pass Mills, Acid Regeneration Plants, Wet Flux Lines and Pickling Lines for ferrous and non-ferrous industries worldwide.
