Kalyani Cast Tech has received approval from the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) for issuance of Letter of Intent (LoI) for setting up of an Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Shivlakha, Kutch, Gujarat on September 10, 2026, for handling Import/Export cargo. This approval has been issued pursuant to consideration of the company's proposal by the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) at its meeting held on August 25, 2026.
The proposed ICD forms part of the company's broader integrated rail, logistics and manufacturing platform at Shivlakha. The proposed ICD is expected to strengthen the company's presence in the EXIM logistics value chain. The facility will be developed in accordance with applicable Customs laws, regulations and CBIC guidelines and will be subject to the requisite infrastructure, notifications and approvals.
Kalyani Cast Tech was incorporated in September 2012 with the vision to provide integrated manufacturing facility for Steel, SG Iron and Cast-Iron components using state of the art casting and machining facilities.
