Vadodara based, Jyoti has bagged orders worth Rs 100 crore for various power projects across India. This is in line with the company's commitment to the ever growing power sector of India.
The orders comprise of Rs 53 crore for Bhavnagar Energy Corporation, Government of Gujarat Undertaking wherein the company would be executing electro-mechanical and instrumentation work for sea water intake, CW and outfall system for (2x250MW) Lignite based TPP. Jyoti will supply main circulating water pump of the power plant for this package.
Besides, the company has secured another order for similar works worth Rs 38 crore from Neyvelli Lignite Corporation for sea water water intake & outfall system for their (2x500MW) Tuticorin TPP. Jyoti's scope of work is turnkey package which includes civil, electro-mechanical and allied works for the project. For both the above projects, the company will supply pumps in complex metallurgy of duplex stainless steel which is ideal for sea water application.
Further, the company has received another order from Indiabulls Power worth Rs 11.50 crore for their (5x270MW) Sinnar TPP at Nashik. Jyoti secured order under stiff competition from its competitors with tight completion schedule of 7 months. The scope of work includes Electro-Mechanical & Instrumentation works for Raw Water Intake system for the power project. The pumps are custom engineered for the project, wherein each vertical turbine pump shall be delivering water at 160 mts head to power station 30 Kms away.
