Jyoti has secured an order worth Rs 13.7 crore from NCC for supply, installation and commissioning of 4 Nos. concrete volute type pumps (Discharges capacity each pump - 4000 CuM/HR) and associated motors for Cooling Water System of 2x660MW Coal Based Super Thermal Power Project. The power project is being set up at Muthukur Mandal, Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh by NCC Power Projects.
The company is collaborating with the Italian engineered pumps manufacturer Termomeccanica Pompe for this order for Concrete Volute Pumps which is the most preferred solution in terms of price and longevity of the pumps. Further the collaboration between the companies covers the entire scope of the supply which includes Design, Engineering, Model Testing of Pumps, Prototype manufacturing, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning. The pumps are to be designed for Sea Water application and material of construction is Super Duplex Stainless Steel.
