Tech Mahindra, Wipro and Hero MotoCorp to see some action today

Tech Mahindra has launched YANTR.AI - a transformational cognitive Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution to enhance and simplify field services. It will further strengthen the company’s BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) portfolio and provide actionable insights to enterprises for better planning and execution of field services.

Wipro and Finastra, a global provider of financial software applications and marketplaces, have entered into a partnership to help corporate banks accelerate digital transformation by deploying Finastra’s leading solutions in India.  This partnership combines Wipro’s expertise across consulting, digital, infrastructure and operations with Finastra’s cutting-edge solutions to deliver modern API enabled platforms for banks to innovate, streamline and digitize core trade finance processes, while reducing cost overheads.

Hero MotoCorp and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL), a Maharatna Company in Oil & Gas Sector, have entered into a collaboration to establish charging infrastructure for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in India. As a part of the initiative, the companies will set-up charging infrastructure for two-wheeled electric vehicles (EVs) across India, thereby providing a fillip to mass mobility’s transition towards an electrified future. This collaboration of the two mega entities - Hero MotoCorp and HPCL - highlights their efforts towards enabling a successful transition of mass mobility towards EVs with the assurance of long-term solutions.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) will acquire an additional 17.41 per cent stake in Swaraj Engines from Kirloskar Industries (KIL) for Rs 296 crore. The acquisition will result in increasing the company's stake in Swaraj Engines (SEL) to 52.13 per cent from 34.72 per cent. The company proposes to acquire 21,14,349 equity shares constituting 17.41 per cent of the paid up equity share capital of SEL from KIL at a price of Rs 1,400 per share.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed its second hotel in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh under the SeleQtions brand. A franchised hotel in management with Sohum Hotels & Resorts, the operational hotel will be rebranded under the IHCL SeleQtions brand.

KNR Constructions’ subsidiary -- KNR Tirumala Infra has received bonus claim of around Rs 8.13 crore inclusive of taxes for early completion of project by 52 days. The bonus claim has been approved by the competent authority i.e, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The bonus amount will be accounted in books of accounts during the quarter ended September 30, 2022.

Maximus International’s Kenya-based wholly owned subsidiary -- MX Africa (MXAL) has entered into SPA to acquire the remaining 49% stake in the Kenya-based Quantum Lubricants (QLL). Earlier, in 2019, MXAL had acquired a 51% equity stake in QLL which paved its entry into lubricant manufacturing in the African markets. With the ongoing acquisition of the 49%, MXAL will take total control over QLL’s entire operations.
