Treadsdirect company is committed to understanding the needs as a retreader and provide the appropriate solutions through a comprehensive range of products and services such as supply of equipment, raw material, service and technology support.

Very few in the industry offer such a complete range of services. This commitment has made it what it is today-750 customers in 45 countries, 7 manufacturing facilities in five countries producing over 25 million kilograms of retreading materials through modern manufacturing facilities backed by state of art laboratories for research and testing of metals and polymers.

The board of Coimbatore-based Elgi Rubber Company Ltd has approved proposals to amalgamate the company with Treadsdirect Ltd with effect from April 1, 2010. The board also approved de-merging certain divisions of Treadsdirect Ltd to Treadsdirect (India) Limited, which would operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Elgi Rubber International Limited. The Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras has passed order dated December 16, 2010, approving the Scheme of Amalgamation & Arrangement between Elgi Rubber Company Limited and Treadsdirect Limited and Elgi Rubber International Limited and Titan Tyrecare Products Limited and Treadsdirect (India) Limited. The said order was received by the Company on December 29, 2010. The Company fixed January 12, 2011 as the Record Date to determine equity shareholders of the Company entitled to receive 1 (one) equity shares of Elgi Rubber International Limited for every 4 (four) equity shares held in the Company.
