CMC has been selected for a special commendation for the Golden Peacock Innovation Management Awards 2012 by the awards jury, under the chairmanship of former Chief Justice of India and member, UN Human Rights Commission.
The special commendation certificate was presented to the company at a specially organized awards presentation on October 12, 2012, at Lord’s Ground, London, UK, in the presence of a distinguished gathering during the London Global Convention 2012, held on October 10-13, 2012.
The Golden Peacock Innovation Management Award looks for innovative culture in a learning organization, and as to how successfully innovations are being nurtured. The award is focused on innovative precepts and technological innovations within an organization.
CMC’s application in the innovation management category encapsulated an innovation driven culture at CMC and touched upon several key initiatives launched by CMC to encourage innovation throughout the whole organization. The company has received a number of awards and recognitions over the years based on the platform of innovation and creativity and participation in Tata-Innovista.
