SpiceJet, India's second-biggest budget carrier by market share has forayed into China while simultaneously expanding its international network. The country’s budget airline is all set to operate its first flight from China from its southern trade hub Guangzhou to New Delhi from February 8, 2013.
Spice jet will initially operate four flights a week at an initial ticket price of 999 Yuan amounting to Rs 8,000. The airline company has got all the necessary paperwork cleared to operate the flight.
Guangzhou-Delhi sector is regarded as the most popular as the Guangdong province, for which Guangzhou is the provincial capital is regarded as the power house of China housing some of the top industrial cities like Shenzhen.
